While C-Master has a wide variety of input formats and processing options, there are other specialized files and data input strategies that you may wish to use.

One example that has been incorporated into C-Master is Scout Ticket data. The user has a specific format of these data, and it easily integrated into C-Master. The paper ticket is scanned into a PDF application where OCR was performed. Then, selecting the different blocks of data and copy/paste allows the rapid input and processing. A typical Scout Ticket in this form can be input completely into C-Master and a lithology log file created in just under 3 minutes. Just think about it; an entire log description entered and ready for processing in under 3 minutes. Speed depends on the success of the OCR processing as well as the quality of the source document.

Some techniques work better than others, but the same principles can be used for other forms of data where the text of the data can be copied/pasted.
